Peter Jennings is very representative of the Disney
mentality under Eisner and the rest of the scum buckets that have
turned Disney's name from gold to pornography.
The very fact that they own an anti American so called news agency
such as ABC without flushing out the garbage working their is
indicative of what they themselves are.
Eisner and Peter Jennings are well suited one to the other!

You missed the biggest point with Peter Jennings
comments about President Bush. Go back and listen to his comments
after President Bush addressed the nation following the attack
on the WTC. After the speech, Peter sarcastically said, "I
think he meant to say 'harborers' "--this in response to
the president's message that we will indeed reach the terrorists,
even in harbors. I said to my husband, "How does he know
what the president meant?"--Please try to find that--it clearly
shows this arrogant man for what he is--a commentator so full
of himself that he glows with a mantle of egotism any time he
delivers a message.

Peter Jennings
We did not hear Peter Jennings comments on T.V.
as we were in France at the time to the terrible terrorist attack
on the United States of America but all the comments we have read
would lead us to believe that this man had no understanding of
what was happening before his eyes. I am truly ashamed as a Canadian
that the people of the U.S.A. may believe that this is how all
Canadian people feel about George W.Bush, not so! We are two that
admire this man and realize that the whereabouts of the President
of the United States is not Peter Jennings concern in a time of
Emergency . We as two Canadians apologize to the American people
and your President for the uncalled comments that seem to have
been made by this idiot.

Thank God that Ann Compton did not know Air Force
Ones' destination when she was with the president. I could not
believe my ears when that bonehead Jennings asked her what their
destination was from Louisiana. If she would have known she would
have blabbed it on national TV, possibly giving the terrorists
exactly what they needed to accomplish their mission. I wish the
self-centered media would put their country's security ahead of
their egos. These idiots don't seem to understand the meaning
of national security. If I never see Jennings on ABC again, it
could not happen too soon. He is old enough to know better. A
Walter Cronkite he is not.

I for one, hope ABC keeps PETER AS ANCHOR until
their only listeners are Babs Streisand and Alex Baldwin. This
guy is such a " Flaming Liberal", flames shoot from
his shoes as he walks!!! HE JUST CAN'T HELP HIMSELF!!

We stopped watching ABC Evening News a long time
ago simply because of the type of "journalism" Jennings
spews. Glad to say that we didn't hear him make those infamous
remarks, but am not at all surprised at his making them. The only
surprise is why ABC tolerates his mindless, meaningless editorializing.
He has tarnished their reputation and credibility. We simply don't
trust the reporting.
We've got to admit...his partisan cracks during
a time of national crisis have got to be the lowest; and taking
the opportunity to label the President as "illegitimate"
or "cowardly" during this most critical time for national
security has got to place him in the red on the stupidity scale.
Sorry ABC... there was a time we counted on you... but that was
then.

Bannish Peter Jennings
Send Pete to the Northwest Territory where he can
report moose migrations. This is where his comments, 1 month ago,
should lead him. That's right ABC I'm still not watching. Tom
Brokaw should know I'm wearing an American Flag on my lapel as
I right this.

Mr. Jennings,
I quote from your web page - "U.S. intelligence
intercepted telephone calls of suspected terrorist groups over
the weekend".
I find this highly disturbing that ABC needs to
provide the details of the intelligence sources. Do you believe
that those involved in terror enterprises in the world do not
read newspapers, or watch TV, or have access to the internet?
So now, perhaps, the individuals realize that their communications
are compromised - and cease to use them. Perhaps the next time,
U.S. intelligence has nothing to intercept - and another catastrophic
event happens.
However, the news media is never to blame - it would
just be the fault of the intelligence community. Well, I for one
hold you accountable. I will never watch ABC news again (period).
I did look around. No mention of the source at CNN, NBC, or CBS.
(ps - I'm a Neilson family.. 5 TV's, 5 set-top people meters -
I'm told thatI represent 30,000 households - no more World News
Tonight, no more Nightline, no more 20/20, no more Good Morning
America) - sorry, but your
irresponsible journalism went too far this time.

Reporter's Ethics
My filing system leaves much to be desired so I
cannot give very specific article location and date. After Vietnam,
in the '80s I believe Newsweek ran an article titled, "Why
Americans Love To Hate The Media. The essence of the article was
a War game scenario in which reporters were invited to participate.
The big names were there including the Canadian Peter Jennings.
Severely wounded Vietnam vets also were present. The situation
described was one in which journalist were "on patrol"
with the enemy and were in a position to prevent an ambush of
an American Patrol. The group was shocked and even outraged at
Jenning's suggestion that he would do nothing to warn the Americans
because he had "given his word" to be allowed to accompany
the enemy on patrol. This article has had little notice and now
may be the time to dig it up and publicize what the media really
is. As you have been doing. I hope your staff can locate this
because it will really give you more ammunition, and it is in
their own words. If I can locate the copy of the article I will
give you more information from it.
Thanks
George

After reading some of the comments about Jennings
on this site I am glad that I am not the only person that thinks
he should be sent back to Canada. He is the epitome of arrogance!
But then, after the comment made by Dave Weston,
President of the"Afghanistan Broadcasting Corporation,"
what could one expect? If one notes the facial expressions and
body language of Charley Gibbons, Diane Sawyers, Leslie Stahl
and the rest of the Jennings clones, arrogance and anti-American
feeling appears to run in the "family."

To ABC and Peter Jennings:
Even though I am slightly later with this complaint
than many others, and there are many, many others from what I
can see, it is important enough that it could be sent at any time
within the next year and still have great meaning. I was appalled
and incensed by the comments that Peter Jennings made in the immediate
aftermath of the 9/11 WTC disaster regarding our President.
This is war we are dealing with, and it is my opinion
that what this egotistical IDIOT said regarding President Bush
borders on TREASON, if not outright treason, and should be handled
as such. Treason should be handled by conviction and imprisonment,
but since your network obviously condones this type of editorializing,
it is also obvious that you are going to do nothing about this
complete embarrassment to our country.
Therefore, I am going to contact the local ABC affiliate
and voice the same feelings to them. I am never going to watch
ABC again, like many other people I have talked with, and I, as
an American citizen and taxpayer for many decades, demand that
Mr. Jennings be taken off the air, immediately! If this is not
done, I will find out what sponsors were involved and I will write
them and demand the same, and/or I will spread the word among
all my friends and e-mail contacts that these products should
also be boycotted. I will also ask them to pass on the same feelings
in hopes that the snowball gets so huge that you are forced to
take action against Mr. Jennings.
At this point, I do not think that an apology would
be sufficient from Mr. Jennings, although it would be nice. Outright
removal from the air is the only alternative which would be satisfactory
to me. Also, if ABC wants to save face in this nation, they will
publicly, and completely, sever all ties with Mr. Jennings.
He is a disgrace to this nation and he should be made to suffer
the same disgrace he brought upon this great nation. As far as
President Bush being an illegitimate President as Jennings said,
I will argue that the only thing illegitimate here is the network
and Mr. Jennings.
I am from Missouri, and you have to "show
me" that you are sincere by publicly firing Mr. Jennings!

Peter Jennings - YOU NITWIT!!
As the tragedy unfolded before my eyes on TV, I
watched each channel for a while...ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and then
make the rounds again. I just happened to hear Peter Jennings
suggesting that the president should be in Washington calming
the people and that he should make an appearance in New York.
Also, he (and maybe other networks did this, too) told where the
president was going..Barksdale AFB in LA and Offutt AFB in Nebraska.
I immediately thought to myself..YOU NITWIT!! I felt like reaching
through that TV screen and throttling him myself. Does he not
understand that the first and foremost thing under these situations
to protect the president?? It doesn't matter who the president
is...protect him.
I thought I was the only person feeling this way about Peter Jennings
until I happened to hear your radio broadcast as I was driving
in my car. I could hardly wait to get home and put in my two cents
worth. I HAVEN'T WATCHED PETER JENNINGS SINCE & THAT'S NOT
ALL...I'LL NEVER WATCH HIM AGAIN!!!

I too am outraged at Canadian Peter Jennings' criticism
of our President. Mr. Jennings should be reporting the events
- not editorializing the events. He has stepped way over the line
AGAIN and should be fired. Before he leaves, Mr.Jennings' would
be wise to apologize to our President and to the nation.

Peter Jennings
Sorry, I've missed the latest antics of Peter Jennings,
Dan Rather, and Tom Brokaw. That's because I quit watching them
a long time ago. Who has time for their vile, slanted stories anyway?
I get excellent info ftom NewsMax, Drudge, Hal Lindsey, and Rush
Limbaugh. Why does anyone give the network jerks any attention,
anyway?

I'm also was amazed by this creep's comments. I
don't understand why abc would have him as an anchor, as he is
nothing but a canadian high school drop out who has no business
pushing his personal leftist agenda to a sometimes gullible public.
Also, he swallows so much air while he is on the air that I cannot
bear to watch him, he is constantly burping. when he referred
to our president as "Mr. Bush" that was the last straw.
His face is not allowed on my tvs. I think Rush is right, as usual.
Jennings' job, like Rathers, is a dinosaur and will be gone soon.
I hope he goes back to Canada and a glacier falls on him.

Peter Jennings is an incompetent pompous a-- and
should be fired and expelled from this country immediately but
he won't be because situations such as this generate more listeners.Just
recently he refused to allow a singer to appear on "his"program
because he disagreed about the words in the song.
Perhaps we, the American public could begin compiling
names of the advertisers who support his network and boycott them
until favorable action is taken.

Peter Jennings -
We are so disgusted with the facial expressions
and snide journalistic speak of Peter Jennings . We refuse to
watch anymore of the news on abc. We wish that he would go back
to Canada, and stay there. He sees himself as a "media"
darling, when he is actually arrogant, pompous ass.
It is very obvious, that Mr.Jennings can not stand
our President George Bush, or any other conservative politician.
In the light of how he seems to feel about this country , why
doesn't he just take his sorry socialist ass and go back to his
own country (if they even want him.)? We will choose to watch
Fox news.
Sincerely Barbara & Robert
