Unfulfilled prophecies

A possible scenario that I see coming and would fit well within all of the prophecies of Daniel through Revelation that are yet to be fulfilled may very well be as follows:

1. A peace agreement with Israel from a neighboring nation such as Palestine with the PLO placing Israel and the world into a position of security and removing their military might that they presently have.

2. While in the peace mode a sudden attack will come upon Israel possibly by one of the nations that are today a part of theold Babylonian empire.

3. Since this attack will cause the destruction of the wailing wall as it presently stands, Matthew 24:2 would be totally fulfilled, making Israel so mad they will attack with vengeance without pity and regard under the retaliation for the sneak attack.

4. Because Israel will be winning a great number of the battles and taking land by leaps and bounds, other nations, (Arab nations most likely), will become involved to fight Israel.

5. This would lead to the United States wanting to get involved to help Israel. As a result of this a major attack will come upon the United States, just as Pearl Harbor was at the time of a holiday this too may fall during a Christian holiday, possibly, Easter destroying large portions of the United States.

At this present moment Red China is a super nuclear power. They also have and are being delivered 54 up to 100 nuclear submarines, each sub, carrying 12-24 missiles and each missile can deliver 12 warheads with a range of about 150 miles up to 1,000miles from the point of launch to the point of impact. This dose not include the ICBM missiles with a range of 5,000 to 30,000 miles with speeds over 1.000 miles hr.. Nuclear, biological or conventional warheads are easy to adapt to these missiles and be delivered to the United States shores, making us incapable of helping to protect Israel.

I would like to know if there are statistics on income to immigrants of the United States over the last 10 years? If so, how much of our welfare is going to these new immigrants? (percentage) I'm sure it is very high! I live on the border of Texas and Mexico and I know that a great many of the people in my area have fake addresses in the U.S. and live in Mexico.

They only come to the U.S. to pick up the social security check, ssi check, welfare check, afdc check and so on once a month and go right back to Mexico. Isn't it nice to know that we are supporting fake Americans?

Rush, I used to be a long haul driver, and started listening to you when you were in Sacramento, and have enjoyed you ever since. I now sell insurance for a living do to the physical and mental strain of hauling everything fromammunition, radioactive wasre, to verrry large and heavy machinery, which all caused a physical disability.

None of this really means a whole lot to you, except that I grew up in SE L.A., and know the mileage around the area, and when you made the statement after seeing Independence Day, that you thought it amazing that the heroine would find a truck with enough gas in it to get all the way to El Toro, I wanted to call you then, but at that time I was under a load that was 17 ft tall, and 14 ft wide, and it was a little hard to stop at a local phonebooth, so here tis. The mielage from downtown L.A. is under 75 miles. I used to drive a delivery truck and made several trips to the area a month, and from my recollections, it was 45 or 50 miles.

I wish I could still listen to you like I used to, but where I am located, and with the way people are constantly coming in to our office, I couldn't keep up with you, but I do listen to you on my way into the office every morning, and still get a kick out of your show. I know a whole lot of drivers that are ditto heads, and we are probably your biggest group of fans.

Just a thought, one that you probably have already thought of. Now that residency is not an issue for a Senate candidate in New York (Hillary's pseudo campaign) why don't the Republicans call in a real challenger for the seat from out of state too? Then the question is,was a third party present during Clinton/Bennett conversations? If so, the third party could be the source. BUT,if there was a third party present, then the attorney/client privilege is WAIVED, because disclosure of privileged communications in the presence of a third party waives the privilege.

While listening to the Rush show today, I found the debate centered upon gun control and the general lies, misdeeds, and untruths which the left-wing media regurgitates ad infinitum.

Yet, the lies, misdeeds, and villainous actions of the liberal elite extend further than repeating the words of Beelzebub. The left-wing in it's assault on the constitution also strikes directly at citizens who strive to defend this Republic through public forums.

As a student at an elite international business school located in Arizona I founded a student club dedicated to exposing foreign and domestic students to all things Americana. One event scheduled was a trip to a shooting range in which students would be trained in safety and procedure in firing weapons. I hoped with this event to promote the long tradition of America's culture in lawfully orienting the uneducated and ignorant to the rights, responsibilities, and duties of firearm ownership.

For my effort the school placed me on a list as "a dangerous antisocial!" Furthermore, the school administrative authorities followed up it's discriminatory behavior when it helped successfully orchestrate with several other left-wing students a campaign to ruin my reputation, slander my name, expel me from school, and limit my liberties as an American citizen.

All this occurred as a backdrop to the Littleton massacre. While soccer moms and liberal dads screamed for protection of the children and liberals both Republican and Democrat sought so called solutions, we had our rights and liberties again taken away a "Little" at a time. Worse, innocent people like me had their lives destroyed in the leftist witch hunt which followed.

Thus, the efforts of the liberal elite to eliminate opposition extends further than seeking to control the debate. In times of crisis they use any means possible to start witch hunts, pass overweening legislation, and extend the surveillance state. Such activities extend to pernicious persecution of not only the powerful but those who are weak and dare to speak out publicly against the leftist assault on our Constitutional rights such as myself.

All of my fellow conservatives have heard of attempts by liberal elitist schools to limit the publication of conservative viewpoints. However, it appears with my situation that the assault now extends to active elimination of conservative individuals from higher education.

Rush, conservatives must not only become aware of the lies liberals speak, but of the means liberals use to destroying those who believe in the Republic. Al Gore and his ilk are not stupid. Nor are they ignorant of the Constitution and the gun control laws in existence. Rather they are fully aware of the Constitution and the rights it gives us. That is why they seek to destroy it. In fact, not only do liberal Al Gore look alikes seek to destroy the constitution but they also seek to destroy in the media, at universities, and in the court houses those who believe in lawfully defending those rights.

I was one of those weak but conservative defenders of the constitution. For my belief in the 2nd Amendment and my attempts to help others lawfully and legally through an authorized school club exercise the 2nd Amendment, I was termed an "antisocial" and summarily drummed out of the school. Let not this happen others, pass the word on, be on guard all conservatives.

Just listening when I heard someone in your audience say the young in the military can drink -- as if the rules were different for them, you can be in drink, not able to vote, but required to fight.... It is not the case: they have to be of legal age. Not sufficient other than the individual wanted to use that to support a position.

The military has gotten pretty tough about drinking ...maybe not perfect, but not of old. Didn't hear the begining of the conversation, but wanted to make sure you were not misled.

It seems to me to have a war you need two sides. Currently we are bombing a country that hasn't fired a single shot at the U.S. except in self defense. It sure looks like if we are flying 4 to 6 hundred missions a day that NATO would atleast have ONE picture of them firing AA at us, could it be that the farmers and the people that we are suppose to be protecting are the very ones

I have been having a real suspicion that the 2000 race has already been decided by the "powers that be" and that we will be treated to Algore and a continuation of the Clintonista policies until the Chinese decide to use our technology and put us out of our misery. How did I come to this
gloomy opinion. The Gore people have been salivating openly about the scandals that they can use against George W. Bush once he wins the primaries, and the Republican leadership is acting as if Bush is a dead set lock to be the nominee.

Never mind that Bill Clinton's past made Caligula look good, since hypocrisy is a religion to the Demoncrats, and the use of scandal is theirprimary sacrament. I have no doubt that with the FBI files at their fingertips, the Gore folk can rip Bush apart, and if that does not succeed, they can start some phoney affair rumour on George that the Media will take as gospel. It will not matter that a minority of voters like Gore or will vote for him, since the Demoncrats will make sure that enough third or fourth party candidates will run to give Gore his minority MANDATE.

The only satisfaction that I will get from this is watching the anti-war lefties have to suck down another eight years of constant war and bombing as Gore fights off the Chinagate connections that he has by filling the maw of the media with bombing and war news. They will also get the pleasure of having to listen to endless speeches and fundraising appeals of ex-president Bill as he spends eight years crowing about his godlike power to thwart the Republicans. Finally, they will get to watch a civilian body count of third world people that will dwarf any by Slobodan, while the military liberals enjoy the fact that they can never leave the military until they die since the stop order will continue as long as the endless wars.

I expect that the media floozies will eventually crack under this endless protection of the indefensible, and start flipping out on camera.

The Bilderberg meeting will include discussions on the formation of a greater Albanian state following "trusteeship" of an "independent" Kosovo, the dismemberment of Yugoslavia (by the return of its northern province, which has 350,000 ethnic Hungarians, to Hungary) as part of a general re-drawing of borders in the region (calculated to continue regional instability and conflict), and the reconstruction worth billions of dollars of the destroyed regional infrastructure at western tax payers' expense.

Another item is the ultimate replacement of NATO with a Western European Army, probably sooner than later due to the bad press NATO has endured over this current campaign. Efforts will be made to speed up the transformation of the W.E.U into a credible European military force
initially relying on American back up. This will complete American military disengagement from Western Europe and leave US forces available for wider global policing, if necessary, with W.E.U. backup in return (first reported on the Bilderberg plan in the 1996 Bilderberg report). The key point here is that the Bilderbergers win no matter what happens to NATO - if it survives a little longer, they can use it as an emergency global police force; if it loses credibility over the Kosovo affair, then they just accelerate its replacement in Europe with the W.E.U. which they planned on doing anyway.

Bilderbergers are said to be extremely concerned about the global impact of, and opportunities offered by, the Y2K problem (which the Bilderbergers believe to be far worse than many people have realised). The alleged presence of Bill Gates at the Sintra meeting may substantiate this claim. On the possible appointment of a Y2K Czar to oversee global passage through the "Y2K Emergency" (one name repeatedly coming up as the most likely candidate here is Mikhail Gorbachev, whose international standing would win him ready acceptance). Other key topics so far are said to be some oil items and financial affairs (IMF, U.S. economy and stock market, gold market manipulation).

With the meeting now only a few days away, nothing has appeared in the Portuguese, European or international media, though the internet is 'alive' with speculation. One international press agency in Lisbon is reported to have said that it has been waiting for the international press to request stories or photos, yet so far not one single request has been received from anywhere.

Global taxation in support of the UN, as the emerging "global governance" centre, to begin with a world-wide tax on e-commerce (this may be why the CEO's of so many key computer companies, including Bill Gates, are in attendance) and to be followed by an individual direct tax collected on the UN's behalf by national governments.

Nato promised 'hell' in Kosovo

Serbian media have reported fresh defiance by the military in Kosovo while Nato steps up psychological pressure on the troops on the ground.

Serbian TV reported an interview with the head of the Yugoslav Army in Kosovo, Col-Gen Nebojsa Pavkovic, promising Nato ground forces "real hell" in the event of an invasion.

"Should Nato decide to carry out a ground invasion, its soldiers will go through real hell every step of the way," Col-Gen Pavkovic told the defence magazine `Vojska'.

Despite two months of bombardment, Serbian troops were still a force to be reckoned with, having preserved men and equipment and a "favourable operational deployment of ground units" using "various tactical moves and actions".

"We would soon stand face to face on the terrain which we know extremely well and which we have prepared well to defend. "The enemy's technological and technical advantage would start to diminish in the first days of any invasion."

Col-Gen Pavkovic added, while the troops were ready for battle they were also prepared to implement any "peace and other initiatives" from Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic.

'B-52s will be after you'

The Serbian news agency Beta reported Nato aircraft had dropped leaflets over the Kosovo capital Pristina urging Serbian troops to desert their units and leave or face bombardment by B-52 bombers.

Nato says its leaflets are designed to domoralise Yugoslav troopsTwo B-52s flew over the city at high altitude as the leaflets were dropped.

"The Yugoslav Army forces are warned to leave Kosovo, because Nato is now using B-52 bombers to cast MK-82 bombs, weighing 225 kilograms each," one of the leaflets read.

"Every B-52 bomber can carry more than 50 such bombs. These aircraft will be after you until they drive you out of Kosovo... and prevent you from committing atrocities.

"If you want to survive and see your families again, you should abandon your units and firearms." The leaflets warned that "thousands" of bombs would be dropped on Serbian forces".

Yugoslav lawyers eye damages claim

Tanjug has reported that the country's top law organizations have demanded compensation from Nato for the damage caused by its campaign.

"The persons who destroyed Yugoslavia are obliged under international law to compensate for all forms of damage incurred," a two-day seminar by the Serbian Bar Association and the Yugoslav Association for Criminal Law and Criminology concluded.

Russian and Greek lawyers also attended the seminar in Belgrade's Hall of Justice.

Tourist season opens in Montenegro

Montenegrin TV has reported the arrival of its first tourists this summer.#
A couple of hundred holiday-makers from the Serbian part of Sarajevo have checked into the Dolphin Hotel in the resort town of Bijela and the TV showed the youngsters splashing in the sea and tanning on the beach.

With Montenegrin radio reporting NATO air raids on the coastal towns of Tivat and Herceg-Novi this weekend, one of the Sarajevo teachers was asked if his group was not concerned. "It's nothing new," he told the TV.

Bringing Justice to Wenatchee ---- by Paul Craig Roberts in Washington Times (DC)

Two decades ago hysterical liberals created a monster ---- an unaccountable Gestapo known today as Child Protective Services. Crazed therapists testified before Congress that 75 percent of parents were child abusers and that a new national bureaucracy was necessary to protect children. Congress obliged the therapists' request and unleashed a Frankenstein.

Several years ago the local CPS in Wenatchee, Washington, got the word from the state office to find some cases to justify its budget. Thus began a modern day Salem Witch Hunt that resulted in the arrest of 43 adults on 30,000 counts of sex abuse against 60 children.

It was all a fabrication to justify a budget. Many of the accused were poor and uneducated. When a local pastor, Robert Roberson, came to their aid, he and his wife were arrested on child sex abuse charges and held on million dollar bonds. Part of Pastor Roberson's lesson from the corrupt police was jail beatings. When Roberson's case went to trial, the falsity of the charges against him were obvious. The Witch Hunt had overreached. Roberson was acquitted, and this was a turning point.

Another turning point was Juana Vasquez, the director of Child Welfare Services in Wenatchee who challenged the charges brought against Robert Devereaux, a kindly man who operated a foster home for children. Her integrity got her fired. This was another mistake by the witch hunters drunk with their power. Mrs. Vasquez was a woman of steel. The daughter of migrant farm workers who worked her way through college and became dean of admissions at Gonzaga University, she could not be intimidated.

She took a stand against the injustice and beat the authorities in a law suit that awarded her $1.57 million. One outcome is that the City of Wenatchee has paid Mr. Devereaux $209,000
to drop his suit for malicious prosecution and wrongful arrest.

Pastor Roberson, Mrs. Vasquez and a few others had the courage to stand up to evil and expose the witch hunt. The state Court of Appeals has overturned six cases, handing down rulings highly critical of the police, trial judges, prosecutors and public defenders. Eleven people remain wrongfully imprisoned awaiting their appeals.

Mrs. Vasquez died on April 29 of brain cancer. She was 48 years old and is survived by eight children and her husband. Mrs. Vasquez and one county commissioner were the only public officials with the courage to challenge the witch hunt. The local newspaper and radio station and the local elites all went along with the false charges.

"I wish I had more time to see this through, to see those from Wenatchee, the innocent people wrongly imprisoned, freed from their cells," were among Mrs. Vasquez's last words.

"There are others who have a responsibility to do something, but who stand silent. Our governor still turns his head. Janet Reno looks the other way. The legislature does a little, but not
enough. Wenatchee can happen again in this state unless the citizens and the government voice their outrage."

Pastor Roberson, Mrs. Vasquez and a brave few helped to end the deafening silence. A Spokane TV station took up the investigation and helped to expose the witch hunt. Then the Seattle Post-Intelligencer turned loosetwo investigative reporters.

The facts are now in. Public authorities in the state of Washington framed numerous people on false charges and put their children out for adoption. Prosecutors brought the false cases to trail or to plea bargains. Trial judges looked the other way, seeing no evil and hearing no evil.

When the sordid witch hunt was exposed, the state responded by appointing commissions. All of the public authorities who framed innocent people remain at large. No indictments have been brought against those responsible for one of the greatest abuses of public power in our history.

And we are supposed to trust government?

i consider myself a card carrying liberal, but one who has voted republican when they're right on the issues. i'm also an ex-marine who sees military service as a duty for all americans. i didn't like what clinton did with monica, but thought what the right wing tried to do with it was clearly more dangerous to the nation. and now comes kosovo.

when i was an 18 year old marine and thought of being killed in action, my only dread was my being offered up for oil reserves, or mineral rights. if i was to die, i prayed it would be to vanquish evil; to save the oppressed; not as some corporate mercinary. so as you can probably tell, i think kosovo was a cause worth fighting. but a few republicans not withstanding; i think the right wing who still drives the republicans, has copped out on kosovo. first by preaching isolationism or "wag the dog" as reasons not to get involved.

then by trying to jump on board after public opinion in support became clear, all the while sniping over tactics. and now by still throwing eggs from the peanut gallery; saying we've failed because the kla is dissarmed and milosovic is still there.

well "hellooo"! if the right wing is using such an ambitious set of goals to measure what we've fell short of in kosovo, where were these goals when the conflict began. overthrowing the yugoslav government or siding with an armed rebellion in the balkans was never a goal, nor would it have been even wise.

yes, the war in my opinion could have been prosecuted better; just like clinton's behavior in the monica thing was wrong; but once again the current version of the right wing looks much worse. i live in houston, tx and like george w bush. i also like john mccain. frankly i do have reservations about gore. but after watching the right wing expose themselves on monica and kosovo, i don't think i could ever vote for anyone who has to carry the current right wing's water.

the main problem with the current right wing is that they don't seem to be for anything; just against whatever clinton and the liberals want. and if you follow the logic of the dissent one would think the right wing is for unlimited access to all forms of firearms, no taxes, no social safety net, no workers rights, public schools becoming christian pulpits, government intervention into women's reproductive systems, and a bigger military without the taxation to pay for it.

my advise to the right wing is to either come up with good ideas the country needs, or stay out of the way of those who do. hillary was half right when she referred to a vast right wing conspiracy. but i think to call it a conspiracy gives it more credit for being organized and thought out then it deserves. i welcome any response...........j lawrence.

Kosovo- the gift that keeps on giving.

The Russians "accidently" rolled into Kosovo early, and NATO faces an uncertain situation, since these Russians may not be controlled by Yelsin and his administration, but some renegade general. Therefore, I would like some spin prince from the Clinton Administration to explain to me again how we "won" this "war".

Never mind that Clinton faces a law suit appeal of his violation of the war powers act even though his pet judge backed him, or a possible trial with Tony Blair for war crimes, or exposure to the public by the fact that Clinton has more confirmed civilian kills than Milosovic (2,000 + at the current count.)

I question that we won the war at all, in that we never captured either Milosevic or his army, and will not do so, and have yet to return the refugees that left during the time of our bombing.
Even by Clinton's vague and ever changing war goals, the early entry of the Russians into Kosovo could render the peace agreement into a moot document, since the presence of Russians in Serb territory will make further bombing for Serbian non-compliance very tricky.

Feels like the Spirit of Neville Chamberlin is channeling through Clinton, just as Hillary channels the spirit of Ms. E. Roosevelt.

would clear out villages for our safety as well as those farmers being used as a wedge, most fled to the north when the Bombing started (B-52's), gee is history repeating itself ??

One big differencewas that the territory was large and Laos and Cambodia would harbor them and help supply them. Clinton Isolated Yugoslavia, and only moved when Yugoslavia's neighbor's were in His back pocket. We did not invent terminology to some how legitimize our intentions as is with the Clinton Administration. With the media wearing the phrase out, ethnic cleansing has been used in the place of forced deportation, because that would not warrant intense bombing for the emotionally astute as is this Administration's only trump card for any and all atrocities Clinton has been continuously stringing together.

This is an Administration of intense meddling, tampering, and demonstrated contempt throughout the World.
He ran Tony Blair's campaign, Israel's Labor Party Candidate efforts, he escaped removal by the ultimate breach of constitutional responsibility, tampering with Congress as he called in 12 key Republicans in the final stages of Impeachment and they all seem to have a sudden change of heart, (the FBI files acquired by the infamous SNAFU, the media helped tolegitimize). The American Public has lost any sense of outrage.

The ending of the brutalizing of Yugoslavia, also is in avoidance of becoming unpopular as time would have drug on, and the Youth of this country who would be out of school for the summer and would form protests against Clinton's War, "Hey Bomb'em Bill, How many Women and Children did you Kill ??, Bomb'em Bill ??" (done to the Beetle song Bungalow-Bill).

The Protesting coward, avoidance, hypocrites, that embodies Clinton's world would not be able to hold up under this type of scrutiny despite the Liberal Media seemingly endless efforts to protect them from anything politically threatening they would begin tocrack, and go away, and U.S. integrity, honor, leading by example, are those things associated with the passing generation.

I am very very concened that the Russions are seemingly saddling up to Slobo. They may have appeared to loose the battle but I cannot believe he will go silently. This will give the Russians an opportunity to plan a future they may have thought they lost with the collapse of the Soviet Union.

I cannot believe we are trusting the Russians. Watch for China's movement into this deal. I am really worried what Clinton has done for his short term "mindless" gain. We are headed for trouble in the next 2 to 3 years.

Last Friday (6-4-99) , my son & I were listening to your show. A lady called in & said she read in a new york paper that clinton signed a waiver to allow a chinese gun dealer to import 100,000 assault rifles into the united states. Of course this gun dealer was a contributor to clintons 1996 campaign.

Your caller said it was in the paper in March 1997 & gave you the name of the writer (Mike ? ) you knew the writer. i have been trying to find that article Can you help?

My son is 18 & voted for the first time. I was very proud of him. He registered as an Independent. If it wasn't for your radio show he wouldn't know that what he read in the newspaper or saw on tv was "spin". The thing that scares me is that's all he's heard. This bull has been handed out by this white house since my son was 12 yr. old.

On hillary running for the senate. this is really a joke. these 2 people will do anything to stay in power. I resent the fact that my money is being used to finance a campaign for a woman I don't even like. I am so tired of this white house trying to shove their opinions down my throat.She has a really unfair advantage in that there is no one in the main stream press that will ask any tough questions. On the today show she was asked what team was going to be her favorite, the mets or yankees ?

Thought you might like to read Tom Clancey's book, "Rainbow Six." It is about a bunch of "tree-huggers" who decide to save the world by destroying all man-kind except for about 2000 of their own weirdo's. It is very plausible and scary.

We are landowners (ranch) and raise registered Angus cattle. We love animals but in their own place - NOT in preference to people. Conservative Republicans (my mother is turning over in her grave - Roosevelt was on the left hand of God).

I am a Health Educator for a local health dept. and spend most of my time teaching kids about the hazards of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc. and about the pluses of eating healthy and physical exercise. Lots of fun!

There is an interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal by
Stephen P. Halbrook titled "Where Kids and Guns Do Mix". It talks about the low crime rate in Switzerland, where there are more guns per person than any other country in the world and where all males age 20 to 42 are required to keep rifles or pistols at home.

It debunks the liberals' theory that stricter gun controls will solve prevent more school shootings. I thought you might find it interesting, if you haven't already read it.

The American Public seem to be becoming 2 dollar prostitutes who will believe anything Pimp-master Bill tells them and give any level of taxation in exchange for vague promises that he will take care of them real good. Both Milosovic and the U.S. have done tremendous damage to the country. We rebuilt Europe and Japan after WW-2. Who is going to rebuild that country after hostilities have stopped? the president was crowwing about excess funds in revenue. I would rather see the money stay here. When Clinton was here in Atlanta a few weeks ago, they closed down the sweet auburn curb market. It was part of the empowerment zone for revitalizing run down city areas. Before he came it was every two days the AJC was reporting lost and unacounted funds. Then, when he came, nothing reported since. HALF of the money is gone and can't be found. Relatives were hired. aunts cousins brothers etc. often for no work done, and the projects are near. People walk 5-10 city blocks for groceries.

They were turning senior citizens away. I saw his s/s [gestapo] turn three senior citizens away. What danger is a 60+ old lady anyway? The streets were closed down for a whole block away with dump trucks blocking the streets.

I thought you were going to touch today on something no one is talking about. This is a woman that stayed with a man that lies and cheats on her, not once, but continually for the last 20 years.

As a fairly strong, single, upstate NY, Democratic business woman, I find Mrs. Clinton repulsive as an individual that she could stand by this guy for so long. If she is that weak as a wife, to stand around and tag behind a cheating husband for 20 years, where is her strength going to come from to be a Senator for a whole state, especially NY? She has shown no independence or self esteem to herself, how would she go to Washington as my representative and fight for anything?

I have been a strong local voice to register and vote. At the age of 45, this may be my first election not to vote. I could not bring myself to vote for Mrs. Clinton. Not just because he's Republican but because I just don't think Gulianni knows Upstate NY exits, I could never vote for him, and I can't rush out to vote for Gore. So, why bother?!

I cannot believe that the Democratic party is letting her discourage an incumbent Congresswoman, for a woman that I cannot find many other women that have respect enough for her as an individual to ever vote for her. I say let there be a Democratic Primary and really see who the people want.

Many women see her as a weak individual, certainly not one to respect. You mentioned doctors won't vote for her, well I question if insurance companies or insurance salespeople would either since she said they were all evil and truly wants to put private health insurance out of business.

I am sure that the spin cycle started by Devil's Advocate Carville and Spinmaster Begala will paint Clinton as solving the unsolvable in Kosovo, and as showing a mastery of the President's Office that borders on the godlike, but before the left starts building temples and sacrificing virgins, I suggest we look around first.

Was it not convenient that a solution shows up days after Clinton is sued for going beyond the War Powers Act mandate. Was it not convenient that the war stopped before Gore had to face a war weary electorate. Was it not convenient that Bill can now fight an unusually low approval rating withthe claim of victory.
Finally, is it not convenient that now the war has failed to capture the media attention off of Chinagate, it is over. Maybe I am too jaded, or too paranoid, but I don't think this "Victory"
passes the smell test.

The Reverend Jesse Jackson and his business, Operation Push/The Rainbow Coalition are involved a lawsuit that could cost the Reverend $10,000,000.00. The claim was filed because of Rev. Jackson's own misrepresentation and fraud to, "the Stones" in their dispute with Albertsons Grocery Stores. The case began June 15, 1998. This lawsuit is now up for auction on July 13, 1999 in the United States Bankruptcy Court in Phoenix, Arizona.

In June of 1997, Rev. Jackson was called in by the Stones to assist them and their clients because they believed that their rights had been violated. The Stones owned and operated an advertising company in Phoenix and because of their contracts with Albertsons and several other large corporations, the Stones had sold thousands of small businesses, mostly Caucasian, throughout the western United States and Texas.

During Jackson and his group's sales pitch, they used segregational racial rhetoric as if they had never left the 60's and 70's. Their statements like, "the white man sees Rev. Jackson coming and gets up off the cash." This clearly shows their boycotting training and attitude.

The Stones gave Rev. Jackson and his group information and time that they needed to review his allegations against Albertsons before his delegate committed to come to Phoenix. When Jackson's delegate arrived in Phoenix, a meeting was arranged to give him full details of what had transpired with supporting documents and pictures that were supposed to be taken back to their legal team in Chicago. However, later on after Jackson had sold the Stones out to enrich himself and or his group. The Stones found out that there was no legal team in Chicago and that Jackson had ran a "sting" on them.

What was discovered was that Rev. Jackson's attorney, Janice Mathis in Athens, Georgia whom was in reality his consultant, did not know of our situation and had not reviewed any of the information that was given them. In one of the conversations with her she asked Stone, "What will it look like for a black man to sue Rev. Jackson?"

Stone found out that Jackson and Gary Michael, Albertsons' CEO, served on the National Grocery Association Board of Directors and that Gary Michael phoned Jackson and told him to take care of the matter. The Stones thought that Jackson was his own man and had no idea that Jackson and Michael had conspired together to get rid of the Stones and their clients.

Jackson had labeled the Stones' dispute a "priority". He had told Stone that he was there for him, not Albertsons. He told Stone to trust him that he would take care of him. The Stones understand Jackson's two-faced actions. Since Jackson knew of a payoff, he had figured that the Stones had gotten theirs. So this unorganized, think I'm a preacher big mouth, turned on the Stones when they refused to accept his bribes. Jackson had failed to realize that the Stones wanted justice and not Albertsons charity. They especially did not want his charity. Jackson's operation on the Stone's to remove their hope and push them out of Albertsons' way, failed.

The auction is a result of Albertsons' failed attempt to purchase the Jackson case in bankruptcy court. The Stones, Jackson and Albertsons have been involved in bankruptcy proceedings that have all but sealed the fate of numerous business owners. Albertsons final hope lies in retrieving the Jackson case.

The trustee representing the sale of Jackson's case to Albertsons failed to show up at the auction on May 5, 1999 that he had arranged. John Stone had taped several conversations with the trustee. Stone had perceived the trustee's camaraderie with Albertsons' attorney and showed preferential treatment to Albertsons and needed to find out where the trustee's loyalty resided. The Trustee had no idea that Stone had recorded his ill-advised statements.

Approximately 1 week before the auction on May 5, the Stone's filed a motion with the court to stop the sale. The sale of the case to Albertsons would prevent the Stones from continuing on with their claim against Jackson and prohibit any future claims concerning the matter. It was in the documents filed with the court that the trustee found out that his conversations with Stone was recorded on tape. Since that filing, the trustee has not been seen at any subsequent hearings.

Because of the trustee not showing up in court and lack of proper procedure in the sale of the case, the Judge, Honorable Sarah S. Curley ordered that the case be advertised publicly and prominently and rescheduled the sale for July 13, 1999.

As I recall the 2nd amendment says "the right to bare arms" The key word is "arms." If this amendment is canceled then every thing that can be construed as a weapon will be under scrutiny, from the kitchen knives to finger nail clippers.

But, My Friend here is the real kicker, Did you know that all SUV's are patterned and designed after tactical military vehicles and can be construed as a potential weapon? Not that they will be confiscated but a special license and tax of the owners would be imposed. They would easily fall under federal jurisdiction and be controlled by a special committee.

While I am on this subject, the new GMC, Chevy, have incorporated a device into the computer system that is very similar to an airplanes "black box." This records every thing that is going on in you vehicle, especially useful in accidents. It will tell if you had your seat belt fastened or if you applied your brakes in time or with sufficient force. This will also indicate your physical position in the car and if a was cell phone communication in progress. This is very useful to the insurance companies in determining fault and fixing blame. As I understand it is located under the drivers seat and is about 2 inches thick 10 inches long and 6 inches wide. Put your hand under the drivers seat and you should be able to feel it under there, it is referred to as the "snitch box." Whether it is linked directly to law enforcement is unknown at this time. It is remove in the event of a crash and read by you insurance company. "Hey, check it out, don't trust anyone on these things, find out for yourself."

BUT, I have not heard a peep from you on a very important topic. I believe it to be a far more devastating event than many things that you spend weeks and weeks discussing. This country is on the verge of a very serious problem and our leaders are not fulfilling their responsability by advising our people. In my opinion they are afraid that it might disrupt the economy if they tell us that the Y2K problem will be serious. They are stalling, hoping that everything will get fixed. It is not going to get fixed and our people need to know!

I don't know if you have not researched the subject or if you are just not interested. Perhaps you also are afraid of to touch this. I challenge you to research this problem and divulge you findings. There are many credible sources. I will list some. The Cassandra Project, Ed Yordin, FEMA, The Red Cross. There are many many more. Don't listen to the mainstream media. I don't know if you have perceived this are not but they don't always tell the truth.
Please spend some time on this coming event.

I have been thinking about the liberals and the gun control issue. The liberals ran Joe Camel out of town because of the effect advertising has on the young impressionable minds.
Finally, Hollywood and it's producers, is under fire.via. the movie industry.

Our children witness thousands of random acts of violence daily in both the movies and television. Bill Clinton's gratuitous attempt to make it appear as if he is attempting to curb violence by this new study he has proposed is laughable, as is most of his decisions. I can't remember the last time I saw a Billboard advertising a gun. The only people that have intimately embraced guns is the Hollywood left. I've noticed recently that the bad guys hold pistols sort of side ways which is exclusive to Hollywood's way of using guns in some fashionable way.

I took a hand gun course along with my son when he was 12 years and we were taught a very specific way to hold a hand gun in order to achieve the best accuracy. My wife asked why they hold their guns that odd way? She is not interested in anything political! But even she noticed it was odd. So the vultures have come home to roost in Their own back yards. Damn I love it when a good plan back fires!!!

Al Gore actually does have the background to be the spokesperson for "Religion Lite." While he was still Senator Gore from TN, he and his wife Tipper were instrumental in bringing Parental Warning Labels on music tapes and CDs. That Moral stand (about all that he has left) is the perfect platform from which to launch "Religion Lite." It is unobtrusive on familiy values (it actually supports them) and it shows that he is not the wrongfully vilified religious right type.

Which leads me into the bad reputation people who are willing to stand up for their beliefs have been given. It is a shame that in a country where our first ammendment rights are held so dear, why is it only the Christians who are referred to as intolerant? Why are those who do not accept Christianity or better yet, those who are against it, who actively set out to destroy it and belittle it and remove it from our culture, why aren't they part of the bad reputation?

I know why. It's because they are the one who have manipulated their way into a supposed position of influence and have decreed (by what authority I'll never discover) that being Christian is bad. Well, if being a Christian is bad, and being vocal about my beliefs as protected by the first ammendment is even worse, than I'm a reaaaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyy baaaaaaaaad man--and proud of it!

HIJACKING THE HOLOCAUST, A Jewish-American perspective of the U.S./NATO bombing of Yugoslavia By: Todd Emoff 5/24/99

The Clinton administration is using the memory of the WWII Holocaust, the systematic destruction of the Jewish people, in an unseemly campaign to justify the utterly failed and illogical policy of bombing Yugoslavia into giving up it's province of Kosovo. It is offensive and demeaning to the memory of those six million innocent Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis and Nazi sympathizers to use their deaths to incite war fever against the Serbs.

Clinton/NATO have advanced this comparison to
try to win over Jewish and general public sympathy for the bombing of the Serbian people into submission. They use the terrible images of the ethnic Albanian refugees-and this is a terrible tragedy (exacerbated by our bombing) that the refugees are enduring-as fodder for a propaganda campaign to tug at the heartstrings of Western public opinion by invoking the memory of the Holocaust.

Why? Because the awful bombing and killing of the Serbian people is in no way in the national interest of the U.S. Therefore, another justification must be presented to justify the horrific death and destruction caused by our bombs. Comparing the Serbs to the WWII Nazis and using the desperate images of the Albanian refugees is the only way to get public opinion to support the war. Without this, support for the war collapses totally.
Regrettably, the Clinton spin machine (unquestionably the best spin machine in the world since TV was invented) has had some success in using the Jewish Holocaust to evoke an emotional response from people in NATO countries, enabling the populations of these countries to tolerate what the majority of these populations would not normally tolerate.

They tolerate the indiscriminate killing of Yugoslav men, women and children, including cluster bombing of civilian areas of cities. They tolerate widespread destruction of the economic infrastructure of an entire country. All in the name of stopping another Holocaust. There is only one problem. Comparisons of the current situation to the Holocaust are not valid. The facts do not support such comparisons.Here are three of the many major differences between then and now:

1) In Germany in the 1930's there was no armed Jewish group that went about killing German police, funding itself with profits from drug dealing operations, or accepting weapons from outside powers to fightGerman authorities. There was no terrorist JLA. Jews were simplyeveryday law-abiding citizens. In contrast, the KLA has been killing and terrorizing the Serbs of Kosovo for over 6 years now. Many ethnic Albanians have also been killed by the KLA during this period,especially those that work in Government jobs like the forest service or the post office.

They are killed to be "examples" and a warning not to work in any capacity that could be seen as conducive to maintaining Yugoslav control of the province. All Western countries, including the U.S., are on record acknowledging that the KLA is a terroristorganization.

2) The Jews in pre-war Germany were not demanding to have a designated area comprising about 10% of the land of Germany designated as an autonomous region for the Jews in preparation for slicing off that portion of Germany as an independent Jewish country. The U.S./NATO demand on Serbia is that they allow in foreign armies to ensure that the ethnic Albanians are given autonomy for 3 years, and be allowed independence at the end of that period.

3) German policy in the early 1940's was the total annihilation of awhole people, throughout Europe (and the world, if possible). All Jews were to be found and killed. Trainloads were sent to factories of death. In the death camps, medical experiments without anesthesia were performed on them, they were worked to death, they were systematically and methodically killed by various methods including mass gassings with zyklon B. Killed by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, ultimately adding up to the millions. This was genocide.

What is happening to the ethnic Albanians today in Kosovo is not genocide. The human misery of the ethnic Albanians is awful, the death and destruction there is to be condemned, but it is not of the scale, scope or intent as the genocide that was the Holocaust. There are 200,000 ethnic Albanians living securely and comfortably (as comfortably as possible under NATO bombing) in the Belgrade/northern Serbia area today.

If it were genocide you would not find this to be the case. Even if you accept as fact that the 800,000 refugees were forced out by the Serbs (other reasons for leaving include heavy bombing of Kosovo by NATO, lack of water and food in the province, forced conscription by the KLA, the prospect of being in a hellish killing zone should NATO invasion occur) they are still alive.

They were not put into mass death camps and exterminated. It is a grotesque distortion of the truth to compare the experience of the ethnic Albanians to that of the Jews in WWII.

The only similarity between the current situation in Kosovo and the Jewish Holocaust is that it shows that there are still mean, brutal people in the world. This applies equally to KLA terrorists, Serb paramilitaries, U.S. cluster-bombers (those that order, approve or condone the use of anti-personnel bombs in cities), Croatian neo-Nazi groups, and dozens of other groups worldwide that are motivated by hate. Obviously, mankind is still not fully civilized.

There is another reason that use of the Jewish Holocaust to drum up support for bombing and killing the Yugoslav people is abhorrent to Jews. It is well-known historical fact that during WWII Serbian Jews were sheltered and protected by the Serb population from the Nazis to the extent possible. This was unique among East-European Nazi occupied countries. Jews were hidden, fed, and housed by Serbs. Serbians "married" Jewish people that they didn't even know in arranged marriages to save the new "spouse" from a trip to the death camps. Jews were accepted into Serbian resistance units. Jews and Serbs were killed together in the death camp at Jasenovac, and died side by side fighting in the resistance groups against the Nazis.

In the quintessential irony of this insane bombing campaign, one of the architects of the raining of death on the Serbs is Madeleine Albright. Albright was born Jewish, her family fled Prague in 1939 ahead of the Nazi invasion and went to live in Belgrade. In 1941 the Nazis invaded and conquered Yugoslavia and 5 year-old Madeleine was sheltered for 6 weeks by &SHY; yes &SHY; a Serb family!
She and her family were then smuggled out to London. Because of the Serbs little Madeleine lived, eventually became an American, and culminates her career by killing Serbs by the hundreds, no, by the thousands in the name of NATO and the Holocaust. Incredible.

In contrast to the Serb behavior vis-à-vis the Jews, the Albanians formedtwo SS divisions under the Nazis. One of these, the infamous 21st Waffen SS "Skanderbeg" division (composed mostly of Gheg Albanians from Kosovo and northern Albania) spent the latter stages of the war hunting down Jews to be killed at Jasenovac, and committing mass killings of Serbs.

The Jewish people owe a huge debt to the Serbian people for
their actions in helping us during that time. How can we repay suchacts? By standing up for them today and doing what we can to stop this sickening bombing campaign by U.S./NATO. Calling, writing, and meeting with our Congresspeople, Senators, and the media, educating them to the truth of the situation. Many Serbs risked (and sometimes lost) their lives helping us. We need do nothing so dangerous or costly to pay them back.

Making a few dozen phone calls, writing a few letters, and scheduling a few meetings with our elected representatives and opinion makers is the least we can do to help them now. We must explain to them that blowing up Yugoslavia, ruining it's ecology, and killing it's people is not helpful for any of the ethnic groups that live there. Thousands of Jewish people live in Yugoslavia, 4000 in Belgrade alone.I wonder how they are faring as their businesses, schools and neighborhoods are bombed and their children terrorized. We must stop our tax dollars from being used to kill the Yugoslavs and destroy their country.

The idea that the United States of America should kill the Serbs, kill the Serbs, and then kill more Serbs (and some Albanians, Gypsies, Jews, Hungarians, Croats, and others living in Yugoslavia along the way) until they let us administer part of their country is morally bankrupt. In our darkest hour the Serbs were there for the Jews. Now it is their darkest hour. We should be there for them. Above all, we must reverse the hijacking of our Holocaust. We should not allow our Holocaust to be twisted by the Clinton spinmeisters into the reason that we are killing men, women, and children in Serbia or anywhere else. We must take the Jewish Holocaust back from them and proclaim, loudly, that the memory of the six million is not to be used for this purpose. Ever. This is our responsibility. We cannot shirk it.

Fortune Cookie

I am an elementary school teacher, yesterday I happened to hear the story of a young boy turning in a fortune cookie that said "You will die with honor". I believe he was disciplined for this.

I would just like to say that I would love for one of my students to have done this. I am hoping that this assignment went along with some sort of unit on Chinese or Asian cultures. Personally, I would have taken the moment to discuss what "honor" meant, and what the difference was between dying "with honor" and dying "without honor". What a great opportunity to put in young minds the idea of being honorable and living by moral beliefs!

I feel sorry for the teacher who missed this opportunity! This young man probably could have shared a great deal with his classmates on the concepts of honor and discipline.

I know I would have rather gotten that fortune cookie than the five that said something about your fondest wish will come true; (from past assignments I have given I would be willing to bet that there were at least five turned in that had something to do with wishes coming true).

I got this website listening to your show. Typed it in and found a wealth of information. The little that's released in pre and post bombing shots tell the story. A picture tells a thousand words. Our (the US) technoligy in dropping bombs into a pickle barrel has become reality.

So was the Chinese Embasy strike a mistake? I think not! Whatever hit the building was ment too. Knowing full well the Chinese embasy was there. I hope it blew up all the information gathered about our military technoligy, stealth and other avenues. Must have been a bunch to warrent a missle greeting card.

military stop loss

I am the wife of a deployed F16 pilot. He is currently in the Kosovo region, and has spent a great deal of time away with the ongoing Saudi deployments (although I don't think the average American knows that we have as many troops out there as ever..). My concern is the recently approved stop loss which I have not seen publicly addressed by anyone. It truly frightens me.

With an initial commitment of 10 years for an Airforce pilot, I have come to terms with the fact that my son won't be seeing much of his father for the next 3 years (when his commitment ends). I have accepted that his first amendment rights to criticize the president have been taken away. I have even accepted that he was forced to get a series of experimental anthrax vaccines. What I cannot fathom is that this indentured servitude may not end when his commitment expires.

Clinton has enacted a stop loss to prevent key personnel from leaving the military until the national "crisis" ends. No one who is scheduled to leave (even for retirement) may do so in these critical fields.

Ostensibly this crisis will end when the Kosovo situation is resolved. It is scary that our forces have dwindled to the point that such a small operation, which hasn't been classified as a war, would call for such drastic action.

My question (I'm afraid of the answer) is this: Will pilots in my husband's class be classified as "national security assets" and forbidden to leave the service when their term ends, skirmish or no skirmish? As pilots leave in droves due to the ridiculous operations tempo and deployments, will those remaining few become slaves, literally forced to work and stripped of their civil liberties? I wouldn't have believed this could happen in America, but I have seen so many promises broken to military members that anything seems possible.

It seems to me that when the "fairness doctrine" was in place our news appeared to be less biased. Our problem is not that Clinton has performed and continues to perform criminal acts, it is the spin that keeps the media off balance. Most people forgot that the Attorney General quashed investigation of the secrets for money ploy of Clinton and other Democrats. These people have comitted treason of the worst sort. Janet Reno should resign although she will not. She paid offClinton for keeping her in the position of Attorney General and nothing has been done. It appears that congress lacks knowledge about this, but if you read, the signs are all there. You know we used to have the death penalty for treason and we also can see that the Democrats are soft on crime! Where is the integrity? I personally know many professors who have medical school students and what do they do with someone they catch cheating in their classes? For liars and cheats there is a price to be paid. Are all Democrats liars and cheats?

Light Polution

Happpen to turn on your radio program this morning and heard you discussing the topic of light pollution. This has been a serious topic of discussion with astronomers for years. As the amout of artifical lighting has grown, astronomers have had more difficulty conducting research because of the interference with telescopes. This is being addressed by moving to areas with less development (tops of mountains in Hawaii and Chile for example) and with new tchnologies. However, for the amatuer astronomer the amount of artifical light is more problematic. Many amatuer astronomers are working with local governments to find the best way to reduce the amount of light pollution locally. This has involved redesign of lighting and also using new technologies for lighting areas that need to be lighted. This has also resulted in reduced costs to local governements, in some instances, because they have learned to light areas without wasting lighting. An example is directed lighting, that is directing lighting down rather than with a non-directional light source. Les wattage needed to light the same area. Works for everyone.

Chinese Embassy

Please do not think for one single minute that the bombing of the Chinese Embassy was an accident!!! There is no possible way that we could "accidentally" bomb anything from three different directions. We bombed them because the Embassy was a radio transmitting station for Milosevic and the Chinese were transmitting information on location and number of Allied aircraft. This is not a conspiracy theory. Our
military intel guys (and gals) did a good job.

In conclusion, please do not buy into the propaganda that it was an accident. Find out about the party that the Chinese Embassy put on about two months ago that almost every foreign dignitary attended. We knew it was an Embassy. We also knew that the Chinese commies were not
on our side.

Perhaps it is all a paid agreement to the Clinton administration for the near future sudden takeover of Taiwan with the USA being to weakened and the Chinese suddenly being to strong for us to do anything about it.

Follow the money. Has much of this $92 million dollars has gone to secret accounts for the Clintons????? The $300,000 for campaign contributions was just a drop in the bucket and was designed to be the money found. The real money is in secret foreign private Clinton accounts for him and his group.

Who else would need to be on the payroll to insure they complete there assignment. Maybe the people who have interfeared or prevented investigations.

The Clintons survive on power and money and they will loose there power with the next election so they needed money.

Al Gore was the perfect Vice president to stupid to figure anything out and get in the way. Can't you see how much they are coming to his aid for the next election. They don't need him for anything they now have what they need the money.

The Clinton paid assignment is almost completed. They now only need to eliminate all of the loose ends. There may be some accidental deaths in
the near future.

Global Warming

After careful review of the various theories out there the one that
seems the most viable to explain the global warming phenomenon is this.The sun has solar storms on its surface called sunspots. These sunspotscome in cycles which last for approximately 200 years at a time withsome variation in between.

These fluctuations cause climactic changes on the Earth's surface which are temporary. The rise and fall of many of the civilizations since Christ can be plotted on the ebb and flow of this cycle. This theory is backed by tremendous amounts of data and will prove to be true when more members of the scientific community study the data.

Ozone layer? Nah...Greenhouse gasses? Nope.... Try, the sun. Use a

E-Rate! Irate!

 

Heard a bit of the broadcast today with you mentioning something aboutE-Rate tax levied by the FCC, which does not have the authority to doso; only The House Ways and Means can enact tax laws/ levies.

I quickly took out my phone bill to examine it and found only an E
9-1-1- Surcharge. After calling SNET Co to have them explain this charge, I was told by a representative that it was a charge levied to cover 911 (Emergency ) calls in the state. That SNET Co was responsible for keeping an accurate/ updated directory for response to the correct address in case someone who dialed couldn't communicate that information. And that each telephone line was charged this tax in thestate of CT.

When I asked if this was to cover Internet expenses of any kind, I was told, no! So I am still confused as to what and where this E-Rate appears on my bill.

American Embassy in China

It has come to my attention that we have lowered our flag to half staff at our embassy and consulates in China. WHY!!!!???? After what the Chinese students did to our embassy I would think that we would have put it on a higher pole. But no, it is so that we can show our sympathy for the dead Chinese in Belgrade.

Hey too bad anyone had to get killed in the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, but if you're going to stay in a city that you know is being bombed I guess those are the risks you take.

Unfortunately, I don't get to listen as often as I'd like-I have a 6 month old baby to love & look after...

Point being...my husband & I were long time fans of public schools, but after hearing all the disturbing things about Columbine we're beginning to wonder. I realize teenagers are different today than 10 years ago when I was in school-but why are the parents today so unwilling to take responsibility for their childs actions? Or that saying NO might mean their kids may not like them?

I'm already saying NO to my 6 month old- and if you can believe it, I get flack about it--"She's to young to know what that means- just love her and she'll be fine" BALONY

I'm worried about what will be in the schools when my child is old enough---I hate to say I would HOMESCHOOL-- but what if it gets worse?Just something to ponder...

In regard to youth violence, my thoughts:

Why is America still asking itself why?

Adequate parenting is difficult and time consuming. Contrary to the wishes of many, adequate parenting requires parents to temporarily, and in some cases permanently, forego their own interests in order to focus on the best interests of their children. This is a responsibility that parents owe our society as well as their children. Of course, assigning societal responsibilities to anyone in the 1990's is politically incorrect. Moreover, since the 1960's, self-gratification trumps any and all responsibility. Why? Because we have become a lazy, self-indulgent society.

Parents raise lazy children because its easier than raising motivated children. Parents raise bullies because its easier than raising compassionate, considerate children. Parents raise children who become dependent upon others because it is easier than raising children who will become independent. Parents rely entirely upon teachers and schools to educate their children because it is easier than becoming actively involved in their children's education. Parents allow children to make unwise decisions that ought to be reserved for adults because it is easier than making a decision that opposes the desires of their children. Parents give their children things because things are easier to give than time and attention. Parents drop their kids off at day care because it is easier and more self-satisfying to work than it is to stay at home and be with the children.

When children are compassionate, motivated and ambitious, parents deserve our praise. When children are bigots, bullies, hate-mongers and murderers, their parents deserve our condemnation. Contrary to the statements made at the President's youth violence summit, we all are NOT responsible for youth violence. The complete abdication of parental responsibility and the complete failure of our society to demand parental accountability is responsible for the vast majority of crimes being perpetrated by today's youth. It is time to hold parents accountable for failing their children and their society.

Guns at 21

How are guys younger than 21 going to use guns if they join the military early than 21, if the liberals make gun laws on the age limit?

We jus had 5 people killed down our street, 4 family members, (including a 4 year old and grandmother). Also the one driver who crossed the line over 80 miles in a 45 mile speed limit. Why don't we have governors on cars, since they cause many more than guns? Why do car makers make cars to go 150 miles an hour, when the speed limit is never over 70 in this country. Are they not guilty?

Y2K Faux Pas

I heard you the other day and you played a clip from the founder of EDS telling people to set the clock of their computers to 1972.

Nice idea, and one should take a PC and try it. You see, Mr. Perot started on mainframes and should learn some technical details before popping off with glib statements. Why do I say this? The IBM based mainframe system clock (TOD) has an epoch that starts with Jan 1 1900. The epoch on an Intel based PC has an epoch that starts with Jan 1 1980.

So try to set your system clock to Jan 1, 1972 and see how far you get. It might work. My guess is, it probably won't. However, with my work load, I don't have time to try it.

Meanwhile, the Y2K situation is very overblown. But, hey, raising such a ruckus sells consulting contracts and makes mega bucks for the large system houses. And, FUD (Fear Uncertanty and Doubt) sells big.

Military Waste by Clinton

Could someone compile a list of all the military actions taken by the Clinton administration? Not only a list of bombing targets, but how many civilians killed or injured?, how much military ordinance used? how much money did it cost?, what was the legal or moral authority for taking the action?, what percentage of our current military assets have been used?, how does this compare to assets used by "war monger" Reagan?

It seems to me that we are using more of our assets at a faster rate, killing more innocent bystanders, more expensively, with less provocation than at any time in history.

Kids Concerned About Their Future

First off let me say this. I wish your show was still on in McAlester Oklahoma. But thanks to the great liberal Gene Stipe you aren't. But Besides that let me address this man we call our President. It's so sad when we can't even trust our free world leader to do the right thing. Just yesterday evening I was up the street at a neigboors house.

I was talking with them. They have a set of twins. (Matt and Josh). Josh said this to me. "Why is our president such a liar? And Why is he so dishonest and unkind to us kids. Now you have to understand this kid is only nine years old. He is already concerned about his future in the since that he feels afraid that the president (A person he respects.

Chinese "Protesters"

The Chinese leadership wants the world to believe that the protests at the US embassy are spontaneous. The truth is that the government is in total control of all demonstrations. This totalitarian regime has systematically suppressed all dissent and a popular uprising is ridiculous. I have an idea that you have the power to spread. Simply a voluntary boycott of products of Chinese origin for the duration of the siege at the US embassy in China. Let's hit them with our greatest weapon, the United States economy. China's 150B trade surplus is financing its military buildup and we control how we spent our dollars. We'll see if ideals are more important that profit.

Volunteering

Dear Fellow Alturists

I wanted to say that the President's Summit for America's Future was NOT founded by President Clinton. I am a 17 years old and a junior in high school. It was a great honor for me to be on the advisory board when we held our local Summit. It was a most rewarding experience that I would recommend to anyone. I see absolutly nothing WRONG with promoting altruism. The summit deos not promote the so-called "required volunteering" for high school graduation. I think that instead, it should be done like it is in our school.

Volunteering is an option but if you do it for a certain number of hours, you can get a special seal on your diploma. It is a most admirable application of your life and the best thing that anyone can do for another. Volunteering is a true sign of our humanity and proves that we are a civilized society in at least one way even if we are currently in a decline socially in many other manners. Accident in Kosovo- The Chinese Embassy

If Bill Clinton is to be believed, he had another SNAFU and bombed the Chinese Embassy by accident. This is a very CONVENIENT accident in that it gives Bill and the Chinese distance from each other, and eats up headline space in the media that would otherwise cover the festering Chinagate scandal that makes Peking Bill and Janet "Fried Rice " Reno look like the sell outs and traitors that they probably are.

It also gives more motivation for Bill to stop the Kosovo War, and pull the plug on the bombing campaign. Is it not amazing that just as the Kosovo War is beginning to be a liability that such an accident just occurs. I worry that more happy accidents will continue to occur for the next two years, getting Bill political cover and countless other people killed.

Of course, if the American public shows the massive level of gullibility that they did in the 1992 and 1996 elections, we will get to see eight more years of happy accidents throughout the Gore presidency, as he covers his part in Chinagate.

If that occurs, I will finally know that you can fool all of the people all of the time.

Teacher Firing

Assuming that the article represents the gist of what happened, would the authority that fired the teacher have expelled students from Littleton High School for having and offering prayers during the shootings there ? After the tragedy, many of the teachers and students (including the boy hiding under bushes with a cell phone) said that they prayed a lot.

It is already illegal to drink in this state under age 21, and how can it be "wrong" to tell high school students to avoid premarital sex ?

This was a Bible Treasures class, so how wrong could it be to offer a prayer for those in peril ?

Chinese Embassy Chrisis

I have a few questions I've been mulling over, concerning recent events, that you might want to ask your listeners their opinions.

1/ Do you think Clinton will now have to give up our Stealth technology to smooth relations with China, over the bombing of their Embassy? Or will they be able to hold them to garner China's support for Gore's Presidential bid.

2/ Do you think Reno's belated investigation of Chinese spying serious, or a ploy for not having to answer questions about it during the Congressional hearings. Re. the campaign finance hearings.

3/ Last but not the least, do think John Glen will be able to earn himself another ride in space at these hearings?

Bill Clinton was probably recruited by the old KGB as a "sleeper" agent either during his college days in England, or during his visit to Russia as a student. Kim Philby and the other "great" Soviet spies recruited in England were generally effective agents for the Soviets.

I posit the following:

Could any foreign agent have done more to destroy the U S Armed forces and national security than Clinton has done? Perhaps everyone is scared to admit that this fiend is not just a greedy politician, but an actual agent of a foreign power.

Clinton has now created a set of possibilities for drawing the United States into a world war; the result of such a conflict at this time would greatly diminsh the position of the US in the world theatre; indeed, we may be greatly damaged from NBC attack by any of the rogue regimes now in existance.

I have concluded that there exists a strong possibility that there is an overall plan
to bring about the demise of the US with Clinton assuming emergency powers and then subjugating the US to nominal control by the United Nations, "assisted" by the resurging Russian Communist Party and/or the PRC.

It is time to stash your Second Amendment protected equipment; American Constitutionalists may soon need it.

MILITARY AND PAY

I am so frustrated listening to the cry baby's in regards they do not have enough money while being in the Armed Forces and they need a big pay raise. Listen to me I know this to be fact because I am in a position to know this.

I am a Federal Civil Worker and my job is to clear people coming on the base and have found that every E-3 on up get and have a brand new car and if they do not have any transportation they use rentals and of course they are brand new also. I drive around in old clunkers like 1984 and a 1986 vintage cars, but when you see a young twenty year old male or female servicemember drive brand new cars it makes you wonder why they are complaining they have no money to spend.

My idea of the matter is they do not know how to budget and they set there priorities in the wrong direction and it wouldn't make a difference if they did get a pay raise they would be still broke and unable to stretch there pay.

Now what happened to patriotism, duty, honor and willingness to serve there country?, they have there nerve to classify the Military as just another job, it is more then that , it is a honored profession based on being a good citizen and protecting your home from foreign aggressors. I am a retired service member myself putting in 20 years of service and feel pride that I have done this because I am a American and proud of it.

Well there you have folks, Bubba has a new bag and title, the "Father of the Lexicon".

His message, quips and quotes have become so confusing that only his fans at CNN and NBC need not buy this new dictionary. How else can we understand what Bubba and donkey party players are trying to say. The following words have new meaning as a result of the Bubba years:

Ambitious: The first lay's (lady's) quest to achieve her own political goals by lying, protecting and defending her rapist husband.

Breakthrough news events: Bubba's announcement our his plan yielding a Milosovich victory after the realization that our solders were detained after straying illegally on Serbian territory, our inability to fly high tech Stealth and Apache aircraft without crashing, repeated unconfirmed reports of NATO planes being shot down behind enemy lines.

Contribution: Either you donate the money or they break your face. Just look what they did to the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia, better keep those cards and letters coming in for Egore.

Destruction: a positive things when in Serbia but abhorrent when in the home of Democratic voters or wherever the media fan clubs will give Bubba and the gang good coverage and several takes!

Is: A word which is simply too complicated and too confusing to define. Even with a team of ministers and counsel Bubba babbled at the word's true meaning. O.J. was impressed and has regretted he didn't try this ploy during his trial.

THE FATAL FLAWS UNDERLYING NATO's INTERVENTION IN YUGOSLAVIA

My year long experience as the Force Commander and Head of Mission of the United Nations Forces deployed in the former Yugoslavia has given me an understanding of the fatal flaws of US/NATO policies in the troubled region. It was obvious to most people following events in the Balkans since the beginning of the decade, and particularly after the fighting that resulted in the emergence of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, that Kosovo was a 'powder keg' waiting to explode. The West appears to have learnt all the wrong lessons from the previous wars and applied it to Kosovo.

(1) Portraying the Serbs as evil and everybody else as good was not only counterproductive but also dishonest. According to my experience all sides were guilty but only the Serbs would admit that they were no angels while the others would insist that they were. With 28, 000 forces under me and with constant contacts with UNHCR and the International Red Cross officials, we did not witness any genocide beyond killings and massacres on all sides that are typical of such conflict conditions. I believe none of my successors and their forces saw anything on the scale claimed by the media.

(2) It was obvious to me that if Slovenians, Croatians and Bosniaks had the right to secede from Yugoslavia, then the Serbs of Croatia and Bosnia had an equal right to secede. The experience of partitions in Ireland and India has not be pleasant but in the Yugoslavia case, the state had already been taken apart anyway. It made little sense to me that if multiethnic Yugoslavia was not tenable that multiethnic Bosnia could be made tenable. The former internal boundaries of Yugoslavia which had no validity under international law should have been redrawn when it was taken apart by the West, just as it was in the case of Ireland in 1921 and Punjab and Bengal in India in 1947. Failure to acknowledge this has led to the problem of Kosovo as an integral part of Serbia.

(3) It is ironic that the Dayton Agreement on Bosnia was not fundamentally different from the Lisbon Plan drawn up by Portuguese Foreign Minister Cuteliero and British representative Lord Carrington to which all three sides had agreed before any killings had taken place, or even the Vance-Owen Plan which Karadzic was willing to sign. One of the main problems was that there was an unwillingness on the part of the American administration to concede that Serbs had legitimate grievances and rights. I recall State Department official George Kenny turning up like all other American officials, spewing condemnations of the Serbs for aggression and genocide. I offered to give him an escort and to go see for himself that none of what he proclaimed was true. He accepted my offer and thereafter he made a radical turnaround.. Other Americans continued to see and hear what they wanted to see and hear from one side, while ignoring the other side. Such behavior does not produce peace but more conflict.

(4) I felt that Yugoslavia was a media-generated tragedy. The Western media sees international crises in black and white, sensationalizing incidents for public consumption. From what I can see now, all Serbs have been driven out of Croatia and the Muslim-Croat Federation, I believe almost 850,000 of them. And yet the focus is on 500,000 Albanians (at last count) who have been driven out of Kosovo. Western policies have led to an e
