Gun Control
The argument for or against gun control will never be won by logic.
As an Englishman, who was also an active pistol shooter before they
were banned here in the U.K. , I can assure the shooters of the
U.S.A. that they will need to be able to counter emotive arguments
which, on the surface, appear self evident. For example - if no-one
had a gun then they would not be able to shoot anyone: unless you
agree with the banning of guns you will be responsible of the killing
of children: guns are specifically designed to kill - if you like
guns you like killing and so on.
This logic, of course, is specious but it is dammed hard to counter
when the press and the media are also biased against shooters.

Just wanted to throw my two-cents in regarding the gun makers.
Holding gun makers responsible for criminal killings is ridiculous.
What control could they possibly have over how their product is
used? Registration is probably a good thing because it allows the
authorities to know who purchases the gun but it doesn't guarantee
how it will be used. How many cutlery manufacturers have been sued
for stabbing deaths? The next thing you know, we will be required
to register our kitchen knives.

Gun Control
I would be interested in finding out what percent of people in
prison for violent crimes involving guns were ever members of the
NRA. With all of the talk of fingerprinting guns maybe the NRA would
be the most trusted keeper of the records. This after all is the
one place where responsible gun owners feel safe with that information.

An important point that most of the people I speak to miss is that
the revolutionary war was not against some invading foreign government.
This war was with the “in-place” ruling body in America.
People go to Williamsburg, they see the Governor’s Palace,
and turn around and say the only reason we were allowed guns was
to protect our homes from foreign invaders. They don’t stop
to think and realize that the post of Governor was one appointed
by the King (of England) and of America not some foreign invader.
Without private ownership of guns, we would not be allowed to elect
our most high political offices – they would all be appointed
by the Queen. This would mean no one could complaign about butterfly
ballots! Just a thought on the subject.

This is a controversial subject and one you may not want to delve
into, however the issue here is not Gun Control but rather how this
Tax will be imposed on everyone who possesses or owns a gun, and
against everything our Country was founded on. I have enclosed a
commentary found on the Internet and I will admit I have not validated
its accuracy. It seemed to me that this is just the kind of Liberal
material that gets your dander up. Your comments would be most welcomed,
either publicly or privately.

FYI....Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2000-1040
Federal Tax Form all guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints
and a tax of $50.00 per gun. This bill was introduced on Feb 24th.
This bill will become public knowledge 30 days after it is voted
into law. This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue act of 1986.
This means that the finance committee can pass this without the
senate voting on it at all. Reminds me of no taxation without representation.

I strongly suggest you call your local senator and representative

Subject: The Bible and Gun Control: a book
Hello!
I have written a book entitled "The Bible and Gun control."
This book proves that gun ownership for the purpose of self-defense
against criminals and tyrannical governments is a God-given right.
The purpose of the book is to educate evangelicals on this Biblical
right. To do this I examine Romans 13, "Render unto Caesar...",
Genesis 14 where Abraham forms a militia to rescue Lot and receives
the blessing of Melchizedek. Then Hebrews 7 where this episode is
repeated and is made by God part of the New Testasment age. There
are many other passages in the Bible and they all support our right
to self-defense.
The American Revolution also speaks to the right of self-defense.
Without the free access to personal weapons there could have been
no revolution. It is evident that this war was fought mainly by
Christians and their pastors. I include a fascinating two page quote
about Colonial pastors going into their pulpits with their guns
and organizing their congregations into militias. One contemporary
of George Washington said, Call this war by whatever name you may,
only call it not an American rebellion, it is nothing more or less
than a Scotch-Irish Presbyterian Rebellion.
Most American Christians are unaware of the extensive Christian
involvement in that war and that the Bible is 100% behind it. It
was literally a Christian revolution, the fruit of the Great Awakening
under George Whitefield and Jonathon Edwards. In fact it is no exaggeration
to say, "God wrote the Second Amendment."
This book is useful for and interesting to both Christian and non-Christian

Grammatically, the Second Amendment is broken down like this: It
is a complex sentence, according to the Harbrace College Handbook--composed
of both a dependent and an independent clause. As such it has one
subject. That subject is not "the militia." Neither is
it "a free state," nor "security."
The phrase: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary for
the security of a free state" is a dependent clause with no
subject. It is an incomplete sentence.
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed" is an
independent clause, meaning it can stand alone as a sentence...in
effect it
says "the right shall not be infringed."
"The right of the people" is the subject. More specifically--"the
right." "What right? The right to keep and bear arms!
Whose right? The peoples'!And why shall the right not be infringed?
BECAUSE A well regulated militia is necessary to the security of
a free state.
People: The whole body of persons constituting a community, tribe,
race or
nation. Person: a human being, an individual
The right to keep and bear arms is mine...as a person. It is ours
as people... the people who would make up, and regulate, a militia.
Some Supreme Court Justices may and do disagree with me in interpretation--but
they are definitely using something other than the rules of grammar
in coming to their conclusions. Perhaps more education would help
them interpret correctly?

Gun control fallacies
There is an interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal
by Stephen P. Halbrook titled "Where Kids and Guns Do Mix".
It talks about the low crime rate in Switzerland, where there are
more guns per person than any other country in the world and where
all males age 20 to 42 are required to keep rifles or pistols at
home.
It debunks the liberals' theory that stricter gun controls will
solve prevent more school shootings. I thought you might find it
interesting, if you haven't already read it.
Please read pages 634 &635 of Mein Kampf, -subchapter "concentrations
on the enemy". it identifies opposition as conservative, and
states that "their (nazis) highest duties is to make sure that
all servicable weapons are Wrested from the hands of such disturbers
of mutual understanding." -

Times Have Changed...
25 years ago when I was in a suburban high school near Tacoma WA,
my fellow students frequently brought guns to school with them.
They left their hunting rifles in their racks in their pickup trucks
in the school parking lot. They were going hunting after school.
It was understood and accepted. There were never any incidents of
gun violence or even any real fist fights to speak of. This in a
high school of over 1200 students.
All students had a much better upbringing then. Some were surely
not as fortunate as me, but the alternative of violence was never
approached.
And a generation before mine, my father was on the rifle team at
his high school. Football, basketball and rifle team. Think of it,
a rifle case full of .22's and not once in all the years that the
guns were, literally, in the school did anyone even attempt an act
of violence with these guns. If the guns are to "blame"
now, then they must have been really "good" guns back
then, huh?

Is there anyone out there naive enough to believe that if all good
people turned in their guns, bad people wouldn't have any?

Children in past generations had more access to guns than the children
of today. Guns were not locked up and almost every homeowner was
a gun owner.

Why guns aren't the answer...
The reason you could play shoot 'em up when you were a kid, and
not fear the level of violence with which we now live, I would suggest,
can be laid directly on the doorstep of Roe-vs-Wade. That was the
turning point upon which life has been increasingly de-valued. We
have a generation of kids who know fully that they exist because
Mom didn't abort them; but she well could have. And who know that
Dr. Kovorkian and his ilk are looming at the other end of life.
Movies, music, poor parenting, confused guidance counselors, gun
control - all are part of the kaleidescope. But the underlying distortion
in the mirror, if you will, is that we as a society have decided
that human life can be judged "fit to exist" on an abritrary
and subjective level. This disortion away from the sacredness of
life affects every other aspect of our culture and national existence.
I could go on, but I'll leave to you the opportunity to extrapolate.

Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were
forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed
by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more
than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now:
In Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent.
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent.
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent!)
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now
up 300percent. (Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned
guns in, thecriminals did not and criminals still possess their
guns!) While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady
decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically
upward in the past 12 months, sincethe criminals now are guaranteed
that their prey is unarmed. There has alsobeen a dramatic increase
in break-ins and assaults of the elderly.Australian politicians
are at a loss to explain how public safety hasdecreased, after such
monumental effort and expense was expended insuccessfully ridding
Australian society of guns.
You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear your
governoror members of the state Assembly disseminating this information.
The Australian experience proves it. Guns in the hands of honest
citizens save lives and property and yes, gun-control laws affect
only the law-abiding citizens.

Criminals Have Guns
My Name is Danny I live in Poland now. I am from Tennessee. If
you want to see the results of strict gun laws come here. Criminals
are everywhere, but no way to defend yourself. You at the mercy
of criminal who steal cars, rob, ect. They smuggle guns from Russia...so
it is true ...if you outlaw guns, only the outlaws will have guns.

Bill of Rights: Article 2
A profound thought dawned on me the other day while I was pondering
our constitutional freedom to bear arms. It seems to me as though
an increasingly large number of citizens are taking the viewpoint
that guns areevil and that people should have their right to own
them abolished. Liberals practically shun the concepts of personal
responsibility andmorality. Our bleeding-heart brethren, the ones
who threaten conservative Constitutional rights, will probably never
agree with or understand my logic but here it is.
The founders of our country created the Constitution which, based
upon their experiences and ideas, was designed to act as the backbone
of our country. They did the best job that they could of creating
a comprehensive document, but in short time they began to realize
that there were some oversights so they created the Bill of Rights
to incorporate these oversights in the form of amendments to the
Constitution.
I have to assume that as this group of great men were going about
their business of creating such amendments that the issues of greatest
importance were recognized prior to issues of lesser importance.
It's human nature; we usually remember important things before those
things that are less important.
My logic then takes us to the next idea that is if the right to
bear arms as defined in Article 2 should be abolished, according
to most liberals, then I content that they really mean that all
rights starting at Article 2 should be abolished. This includes
rights such as the freedom to be secure from unreasonable search
and seizures (Article 4), the freedom of due process of law (Article
5), the freedom against involuntary servitude and slavery (Article
13), and the freedom to vote regardless of race, color, or sex(Article
15 and Article 19).
Liberals use fuzzy (emotional) logic along with smoke-and-mirrors
to try and justify their vision of utopia. If we conservatives do
not recognize this then we will empower liberals to take away our
freedoms. That will ultimately lead to forms of government, such
as Socialism and Communism, that are proven throughout history to
not work.
What liberals must not realize is that without all of the Articles
listed in the Bill of Rights freedom as we know it would be horribly
diminished and liberals would become nearly powerless to voice their
political opinions. Hmm...now that I think about it maybe I'm missing
the BIG picture here.

You may have seen this one.......Super Granny, Defender of Justice
(True Story!)
An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to
her car, found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle.
She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to
scream at them at the top of her lungs, "I have a gun, and
I know how to use it! Get out of the car, scumbags!"
The four men didn't wait for a second invitation but got out and
ran like mad whereupon the lady, somewhat shaken, proceeded to load
her shopping bags in the back of the car and get into the driver's
seat.
She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition.
She tried and tried, and then it dawned on her why. A few minutes
later, she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther
down. She loaded her bags into her car and drove to the police station.
The sergeant to whom she told the story nearly tore himself in two
with laughter. He pointed to the other end of the counter where
four pale white males were reporting a car jacking by a mad elderly
woman described as white, less than 5' tall, glasses, curly white
hair and carrying a large handgun. No charges were filed. Ah, senior
moments!

Why did Japan not invade the West Coast?
In 1960, Robert Menard was a Commander aboard the USS Constellation
when he was part of a meeting between United States Navy personnel
and their counterparts in the Japanese Defense Forces.
Fifteen years had passed since VJ day, most of those at the meeting
were WWII veterans, and men who had fought each other to the death
at sea were now comrades in battle who could confide in one another.
Someone at the table asked a Japanese admiral why, with the Pacific
Fleet devastated at Pearl Harbor and the mainland US forces in what
Japan had to know was a pathetic state of unreadiness, Japan had
not simply invaded the West Coast.
Commander Menard would never forget the crafty look on the Japanese
commander's face as he frankly answered the question. "You
are right", he told the Americans. "We did indeed know
much about your preparedness. We knew that probably every second
home in your country contained firearms. We knew that your country
actually had state championships for private citizens shooting military
rifles. We were not fools to set foot in such quicksand."

Rush, I am concerned about the lack of outrage by the left wing
over the recent school stabbings in Alaska. I didn't notice Bill
"politically correct and liberal media poster boy" Maher
talking about it on his show. I thought by now we would here some
Hollywood stars speaking out about the culprits behind this stabbing
being the N.K.A. The National Knife Association. By now I would
have thought that some liberal Senator from Mass. would have been
calling for the doing away with all knives in America and sanctions
and lawsuits against the knife manufacturers. Why no outrage? The
real problem in America is one that goes back to just after the
Garden of Eden when Cain slew his brother Abel. It is not the guns,
it is the heart of the individuals that need changing. If Babs Streisand
and her bunch had been around back in those days, they would have

like you who tell it like it is.

How to Argue and Win with Liberal, Anti-gun People.

39) Step One is "Understanding": Look up the Psychiatric
definition of the word "Displacement" in a really big
dictionary. It says "The transfer or displacement of a deep
emotion (such as fear or hate) from the true source or person etc.
about which it was originally experienced to another source or object"
Even though the psychiatrist only has a small clue, it still operates
like this: When a criminal kills a victim with a gun, the parent's
anger, hate or side with/ join with or terror and fear is displaced
to the object as the easier thing to confront, side with or deal
with than the (true source) criminal. It is the irrational emotional
and mental force that drives all the emotionally defective and mentally
weak fanatics in each and every Anti-Gun and anti-Second Amendment
groups. Note!! - The greater majority of the
parents in the anti-gun lobby were Liberal Democrats at the time
that they lost their loved ones.
40) Displacement is classified as a neurosis. It is also a mental
weakness. It is an inability to confront and accept the true cause
or source of a problem. The family survivors of the victims' of
criminals in all the anti-gun groups are people that never fight
to really toughen and lengthen the jail time sentences for violent
criminals. Their attention is forever focused and fixed on the physical
object of their fears. It is too much for them to face up to the
fact that the real threat comes directly from the criminal's sick
mind and not from the objects used to kill us. This is the best
example of their improper, or defective cause or source point, some
have called this, the Liberal's "Wrong Target Mentality."
41) Remember that a Liberal really does not blame the criminal
for his actions or the crime. If you insist that a Liberal talk
to you only about punishing the criminal he will go wildly mad if
he can't switch the conversation back to the "Real Problem"
about the dangerous guns that are killing our people. In his mind
he can't hold a conversation only about punishing criminals. In
his sick and weak mind, the source, the cause of all crime is not
the criminal, but the objects used by the criminal! It is impossible
for them not to want to talk about the REAL problem, the banning
of the "Deadly - evil guns!!!"
42) Step Two is "control" of conversation: In effect,
the only defense against their illogical, wrong target mentality,
and the only way to win a conversation with these people that have
a "Mental Block" against the real cause or problem and
whose minds are only directed at the object, is to repeatedly make
it clear politely or not that (Step One) you think them: Pro-criminal,
sick, illogical, foolish, crazy, neurotic, stupid, dangerous, etc.
to consider that the object is more responsible or the cause or
the blame for the crime rather than the sick mind that uses it.
This is the only way to back them up and to make them lose control
of
the conversation, you have to do this in order for Step Two to completely
destroy their insane arguments.
(Step Two) Warning! Avoid talking about the objects used by the
criminals to kill us, don't get hooked into talking about these
objects! Keep on talking about or asking them questions only about
the criminal. Never talk about the object! Ignore any talk about
the object, immediately CHANGE the conversation back to the criminal
whenever he tries to talk about "Weapons of Mass Destruction!!!"
or any other "wrong target" issue or problem. Keep the
conversation on the criminal and not the object or wrong target
and you will win, back them up and make them lose control with Step
One, and attack them with Step Two. If you talk about the object
or wrong target as the responsible entity/party, you will get hooked
into the sick neurosis that they have and will lose the control
of the conversation permanently.
The true Bleeding Heart Liberals are weak both emotionally and
mentally, they can't confront the criminal or the true cause or
source of ANY problem for that matter; they won't be able to confront
you if you don't play their game! You will have to learn to change
the topic of the conversation immediately whenever it deviates from
the true cause or source of any problem. Learn to jump away from
talking about the "thing". No matter what the discussion
is about make it your questions that they have to answer. Take control
of the topic away from them every single time. Don't give them the
chance to ask their neurotic questions about guns or weapons, make
it your questions about criminals immediately. Put them on the defensive,
back them up with Step One and attack them hard with Step Two every
time. Don't give them a chance to ask their usually illogical questions.
43A) (Also part of Step One) In any conversation with a B. H. Liberal,
always treat them politely or impolitely as the hypocrites or liars
that they really are. Ask them questions or accuse them of things,
in this way: "How can you say that you are against crime, when
it has always been your kind that have always fought us to set criminals
free right after a crime". "How can you now say that you
are in favor of long prison sentences for criminals, when it has
always been your kind that have always fought against long prison
sentences." Form the questions your own way, but contrast their
replies or statements with the reality of their past behavior patterns
as the basis of your conversational attacks. The list of hypocrisies
is endless with Liberals. You can think up many questions and answers
to effectively oppose their anti-social agenda with just a bit of
thought.
Never give them the edge or opportunity for them to be able to
falsely pose as the champions of society. They are not really or
actually who they think they are. Treat them as the real hypocrites
that they really are, and in your conversations with them you will
always win! Never forget that you have the right to call them hypocrites
based upon how their past actions have always differed from their
phony words or promises!
Last warning! Don't get caught in their web! Don't let them lead
the (Step Two) conversation towards guns or any wrong cause or wrong
source of any problem or you will lose very fast! Don't answer their
questions at all or spend too much time answering them, their logic
or reasoning abilities are not compatible to yours! Their minds
cannot confront any real cause or any real source of any problem,
their solutions will be strange and anti-social to you, why bother
to play their game! Play your own game and you will win every time!
43B) Step Three is "Exposure": This is the nail (the
truth) that will seal their coffin forever.Whenever possible let
all people know who and what they are. Tell them all you know about
how weak Pro-criminal Liberals are with violent and murderous: Child
Molesters and Rapists. Run Ads exposing them, and condemning their
pro-criminal actions. Send letters to any and all Democrats against
the Bleeding Heart Liberal's pro-criminal behavior, ask them if
they support the Democratic Party's Pro-Criminal Liberal agenda
and ask or tell them to change sides if the don't support it.
Find out who supports them financially and expose the Liberal's
true behavior and true beliefs and ask them to send your group the
same or more money to undo the harm that their previous money caused.
Cause them to lose the respect and financial support of society.
Make them lose their jobs and cause their own neighbors to despise
and fear them. Do this relentlessly, never give up this exposure
tactic. Remember that the life of a CHILD OR WOMAN may depend on
how well you do this anti-criminal/anti-liberal campaign. And remember
that it is not against the law to discriminate against or refused
to hire, or refused to rent to Liberals. Political discrimination
against Bleeding Heart Liberals is pro-survival to us all.
Please stop defending yourselves by defending your right to use
the objects that criminals use against us, that old method is playing
into their game. If you truly want to win, you can really and effectively
attack Liberals with this knowledge about them!!!!! Use it!!!
If you do these three steps well, you and many others will soon
enough notice that they are emotionally, mentally weak and disgusting
people. Do these steps well and their false dignity will disappear
along with the respect of all Society. Don't play their game and
you will win very easily, they will actually fold and cave in like
babies when you only talk about the criminal and not about the criminal's
favorite objects of death. Remember that "exposure" is
the only key to their undoing.
Be forceful with Step One and Step Two, and be relentless with
Step Three and they won't be able to confront you at all if you
do these three steps well, because that is a major disability with
them - their non-confront minds

I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down
Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were
forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed
by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more
than $500 million dollars.
The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are
up 3.2 percent,. Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent;. Australia-wide,
armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent!) In the state
of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.(Note
that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals
did not and criminals still possess their guns!)
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease
in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward
in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed that
their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults
of the elderly. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain
how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and
expense was expended in "successfully ridding Australian society
of guns."
You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear your
governor or members of the state Assembly disseminating this information.
The Australian experience proves it. Guns in the hands of honest
citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws affect
only the law-abiding citizens.
